If I could rate this place with 0 stars I would. Absolutely appalling hospital I wouldnt even send a dying dog there. The Nurses and Doctors have no idea what theyre doing which almost resulted in the death of my nan. I actually observed a nurse leaving a blind patient on the toilet unsupervised which is a prime example on the care they provide. No information was given to my nan so she didnt know what was going on, NONE of her past history had been collected (which is illegal may I add) until 2 days after her admission which MY FAMILY had to push them to get AND she never received appropriate care because of a lack of communication with staff. Luckily she pulled through but is now dealing with heart failure, COPD and fluid around her lungs. Upon discharge they provided her with NO support whatsoever, they just sent her on her way home. No oxygen tank or information on where to get one was given, no social worker or district nurses to check up on her while shes at home, keep in mind shes a very ill 80 year old lady who cannot drive or even walk without gasping for air. A week after her discharge she thought she would be recieving an at home check up with a district nurse who never showed up, nan called us asking if we could see what was happening with that so we called the hospital and they said they hadnt organised ANYTHING so my family has to run around to organise this support when it was the hospitals job to contact them. Absolutely disgusted in them and that isnt even the whole story.

Under funded, under staffed.. no After hours emergency surgeon .. my partner almost died due to this.

Staff are always professional & friendly. Hospital always looks clean & staff always are dressed neat & tidy. Only complaint is the car park & the cars that park blocking the path way in & out just to park so they dont have to walk. Fines need to apply when cars park outside the marked parking bays

Freaking crazy wait times even if you and your child are the only ones waiting. EVERY TIME.

I have had a month of post acute care including, cleaning, equipment hire and about to start physio. My experience with Bass Coast Health was amazing from the start of the processes. Couldn't have done my recovery without their help. Thankyu so much
